FAM® bushings are manufactured from manganese steel, which provides excellent resistance to abrasive wear thanks to a mechanical work hardening of the contact area. Only an initial greasing is required.
FAM® bushings have internal cross hatched topography making the surface harder and helping removing abrasive particles.
FAM® L or MANGACHOC bushing have smooth internal diameter. They are mainly used for their high resistance to abrasion and high contact pressure in shock working conditions, with no maintenance.
MANGACHOC technology is also available on spherical plain bearing in case of angular misalignment or flexion in the joint.
See more detail about spherical plain bearing.
