CERTESS Nitro - Hard coatings

Reliable, ecological and versatile, vacuum coating technologies have developed strongly in recent years and today represent a major development for surface engineering.
In addition to DLC type coatings, the HEF Group is in a position to propose a whole range of very hard coatings.

These CERTESS™ NITRO treatments find their application in many areas and make it possible to resolve complex wear problems. Thus, they make it possible to combat:

• Abrasive wear
• Adhesive wear
• Erosion

They find their applications in varied areas like aerospace, automotive components, mechanical components used in industrial machines and equipment, tooling applications (cutting-out, shaping, stamping, etc.), moulds for the rubber and plastics industries, pressure injection, medical instruments and various decorative or optical applications.
