The SPRINT CLUB is not an ordinary treadmill. In fact it is the athlete who drives the belt by providing effort whilst being retained by a belt linked to a unit with a speed, traction and angular movement sensor.
This assembly is coupled to a computerized system for the acquisition of data and consequent processing.

1 Measurement of speed by incremental encoder (360 points per revolution)
2 Measurement of the elevation of the centre of gravity by incremental encoder
(600 points per revolution)
3 Measurement of the traction effort by force sensor, measuring extent 200 daN
4 On/off switch - Speed/torque selector switch
5 Computer connector
6 Height adjustment of fastening point to be adapted to the waist of the sports person
7 Control and display desk
